1Win Deposit Deducted but Not Added – Recovery Steps
The most frustrating deposit scenario is when money is deducted from your account but not added to your 1Win game balance. The payment shows as successful from your side, but 1Win's system has no record of receiving it.
Why Money Gets Deducted but Not Added
This happens in an intermediate failure stage in the payment chain. Your bank debits your account and sends the money to the UPI gateway or payment processor. However, the payment processor fails to pass it to 1Win due to a technical error, network interruption, or processing timeout. The funds are technically "in transit" and can take days to either reach 1Win or bounce back to your account.
The deposit was deducted from my bank account over 14 days ago. I have submitted screenshots and UTR numbers multiple times, but 1Win has not credited my account or issued a refund.
How to Recover Your Deducted Funds
Collect strong evidence immediately: bank statement showing the deduction, UPI app transaction history with UTR, and any payment confirmation screen. Submit this to 1Win support and request a "payment investigation." If 1Win claims they did not receive the funds, contact your bank directly and request a "payment trace" or "UPI dispute" citing the UTR number. Banks are obligated under RBI rules to investigate and provide resolution within defined timeframes.
For amounts over ₹5,000 that remain unresolved after 7 days, consider filing a formal complaint with NPCI through their helpline or the Payments SACHET portal. You can also raise a chargeback with your bank if the payment was made via debit or credit card. Document all steps taken — this creates a paper trail that strengthens your case significantly.
